Tourists and skiers in European countries are now closer to Kopaonik as they will reach the most famous tourist and ski center in Serbia faster thanks to the opening of the Morava airport in Lađevci near Kraljevo, which is 110 kilometers away from Kopaonik.
The first civilian flight from Morava Airport took place on December 17, 2019 on the route to Vienna, establishing regular air traffic at this airport.
Flight to the Austrian capital, two times a week, is just the beginning, and future air routes from Morava Airport will contribute to greater economic and tourism development, especially in the Central and Western Serbia region.
In addition to the Vienna routes, there is a regular flight to Thessaloniki, and over time there will be flights to other European cities.
