Kopaonik 13.01.2022. A complex action of rescuing a middle-aged man with a severe head injury on the Krčmar ski slope was carried out by the joint action of the Mountain Rescue Service of Serbia, the Ski Resorts of Serbia, a doctor from the trauma center on Kopaonik and a helicopter unit of the Ministry of the Interior.
The action of rescuing a middle-aged injured man, with a severe head injury he received on the Krčmar ski slope, ended in less than three hours and the injured man was transported to the Clinical Center of Serbia.
As of this year, the service of emergency medical transport by helicopter is available on Kopaonik, thanks to the recently signed Agreement on Cooperation between the helicopter unit of the Ministry of the Interior, the Public Enterprise Ski Resorts of Serbia and the Mountain Rescue Service.
Since the beginning of the cooperation with the helicopter unit of the Ministry of the Interior, 27 rescuers from the GSS of Serbia have completed their orientation in working with the helicopter.
