Kopaonik, 08.02.2023. – The Kopaonik Ski Center is operating at almost full capacity – almost all ski installations and ski slopes are in operation, as well as the entertainment facilities in the Valley of Sports. The Bela Reka ski trail has also started working.
The height of the snow cover is 100 centimeters, and there is up to 60 centimeters of compacted snow on the ski slopes.
“Almost the entire cable car system and ski slopes are in operation. The weather conditions for skiing are very favorable, although it is quite cold. The snow surface is excellent. The slopes are perfectly groomed.” – Mina Lukić, ski instructor, shared her impressions and ratings.
The Sunčana dolina, Malo jezero, Krst, Pančićev vrh, Treska, Duboka I, Karaman Greben, Mali karaman, Marine vode, Marine vode A, Karaman, Jaram, Gobelja relay, Gobelja, Kneževske bare, Gondola Brzeće – Mali Karaman, Gvozdac, Duboka II, Krčmar, Mašinac, Vučak II, Jaram conveyor belt, Mašinac conveyor belt, Ski kindergarten, Children’s park.
The working hours of the ski installation are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except for the Gvozdac, Krčmar and Gondola Brzeće – Mali Karaman installations, which work from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The ski slopes in operation are: Sunčana dolina (ski slopes no. 1, 1a, 1b and 1c), Malo jezero (no. 2), Krst (no. 3 and 3a), Pančićev vrh (no. 4, 4a, 4b , 4c, 4d and 4e), Treska (no. 5a), Duboka I (no. 6, 6a, 6b and 6c), Karaman Greben (no. 7, 7a, 7b and 7c), Mali Karaman (no. 8 and 8a), Marine waters (no. 9 and 9a), Karaman (no. 10), Jaram (no. 11), Gobelja relay (no. 12 and 12a), Gobelja (no. 13, 13a, 13b, 13c, 13d , 13e and 13f freeride), Kneževske bare (no. 14), Bela reka I (no. 15), Bela reka II (no. 15a), Gvozdac (no. 19, 19a freeride, 19b freeride and 19c), Duboka II (no. 20), Krčmar BMW (no. 21 and 21a) and Mašinac (no. 22). “As always, Kopaonik is great for skiing, especially when the ski slopes are excellent preparation. The Bela Reka 2 ski slope has also started working, so it’s great for us snowboarders. Come and enjoy the mountain and snowboarding.” said Ljiljana Lukić, snowboard instructor.
Among the entertainment facilities in the Valley of Sports, Tubing is in operation – working hours from 09:00 a.m to 04:30 p.m and the Children’s Park, which operates from 09:00 a.m to 10:00 p.m.
For fans of skiing and snowboarding, the night ski slopes Pančićev vrh and Karaman greben are also available – working hours from 06:00 p.m to 10:00 p.m.
All road directions to Kopaonik are passable with the mandatory use of winter equipment.
