Three decades of ski racing by the Mountain Rescue Service of Serbia

The traditional ski race of the Mountain Rescue Service of Serbia was held this year under the name “Ski cross 2024” and 60 competitors and rescuers of the Mountain Rescue Service from Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina participated.

The participants competed on the “Malo jezero” track in different skiing techniques, and the winner of this year’s race is Filip Kaćurić, a rescuer from the Mountain Rescue Service from Serbia.

“The lifeguard race is a three-decade-long tradition of our service. We organize it because we want to promote, above all, a healthy life, sports, a safe stay in the mountains, but also different skiing techniques,” said Jelena Đoković, lifeguard of the Mountain Rescue Service and organizer of this year’s race.

The general sponsor of the race is the company Yettel, and it was also supported by the Ski Resorts of Serbia, Dacia, Mars, Beosport, Planet Bike, 100 Women Winery, and Coca Cola.
