World Guide Day was established on February 21, 1990 and has been celebrated every year since. On this day, tourist guides are involved in various events, most often it is the conduct of tourist and hiking tours.
On the World Day of Tourist Guides, many events (seminars and lectures) are organized to help the guides refine their knowledge and skills.
