Ski Resorts of Serbia and the humanitarian organization NURDOR organized the traditional humanitarian ski race “I JA SE BORIM” on Kopaonik, for the 8th time, and on that occasion 2,550,000 dinars were raised.
The race, which was held on the Karaman Greben trail, was attended by over 150 competitors, and participants of the NURDOR winter camp were also present. The race was opened by the Serbian skiing champion and president of the Ski Association of Serbia, Nevena Ignjatović.
This year, the traditional ski race of Ski Resorts of Serbia had a humanitarian character under the slogan I JA SE BORIM, and the funds raised will be directed towards the project “Hospital Tailored to the Child” whose ultimate goal is to provide the best treatment conditions and medical treatment in a warm supportive environment in all pediatric hemato-oncology departments in Serbia.
The National Association of Parents of Children with Cancer was founded in 2003 by parents of treated children, doctors and psychologists and friends from all over Serbia with the aim of providing emotional, practical and material assistance to new families who are just beginning the long and uncertain fight to cure their little ones.
We would like to thank all participants in the race, as well as all humane individuals, organizations and companies that recognized the importance of such an action and donated money.
