The interactive exhibition “Tesla, man from the future” was opened in Villa Ras on Kopaonik and will last until January 25, 2024.

The Nikola Tesla Museum, in cooperation with the Raška Tourist Organization, the Ski Resorts of Serbia, the Grand and Gorski hotels, organized the interactive exhibition “Tesla, man from the future” on Kopaonik.

The exhibition has as many as three exhibition points – one with a standard exhibition setting, within the Villa Ras (next to the JAT apartment) and two multimedia points – totems, in the Gorski and Grand hotels.

Visuals shown on specially designed panels represent the story of the life and work of one of the greatest scientists of all time. The work of Nikola Tesla, which can be divided into three segments (induction motors and polyphase system, high-frequency currents, mechanical engineering), is accompanied by working models showing some of Tesla’s most important inventions such as the induction motor with a disc-shaped rotor, the “Columbus egg” , and the Tesla transformer.

The display is complemented by models of some of Tesla’s most important projects, such as the hydroelectric power plant at Niagara Falls, the laboratory in Colorado Springs, the famous tower on Long Island, but also a replica of the “Blue Portrait”, the only portrait of Nikola Tesla.

The exhibition will be open until January 25, 2024. A guided tour of the exhibition in Villa Ras is organized every working day from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Entrance is free.
