Kopaonik 26.03.2023. Eighty-seven-year-old Milivoje Simić, better known as Professor Beli, is the oldest skier on Kopaonik. A native of Kragujevac, he became acquainted with the beauty of this mountain as a high school student, and his love for skiing was born exactly 73 years ago, back in 1950, reports the KoSSev portal.
This living legend, as he is called on the Kopaonice snow, spent whole days on the ski slopes, and he still skis today.
“I came to Kopaonik in 1950. I was 14 and a half years old then. At that time, I was in the first class of a teacher’s school in Kragujevac and that’s when the physical education teacher brought us, a group of boys, to Kopaonik”, and that’s when, says Professor Beli for KoSSev and RTV Mir, his love for skiing was born.
