Kopaonik 02.08.2021. From this year, the “Srećko Lazarević” Memorial will be organized and held on Kopaonik in memory of the great man with a huge heart and the manager of the Rtanj Hotel, who passed away at the beginning of December 2020.
The first “Srećko Lazarević” Memorial is planned to be held on September 2, 2021, as an introduction to the Kopaonik 2021 Mushroom Days event, which will be held from September 3 to 5.
According to the organizers, on September 2, it is planned to gather participants in the hall of the House of Culture in Raska around 09:00, where memories and recollection of Srećko Lazarević will be evoked. After that, the grave site will be visited and candles will be lit, then it is planned to walk the Borovik Savina voda trail in MZ Rudnica, which was Srećko’s work while he was the president of the local community. Upon arrival at the top of the trail, all participants will be served mushroom stew prepared by the Mushroom Association from Raska, of which Srćko Lazarević was a member.
At the end of the day, a visit to the Rtanj Hotel is planned, where Srećko was the manager in order to evoke memories of the period when Srećko entertained everyone with a smile, regardless of whether they were hotel guests or just stopped by and always showed that Rtanj has a soul like Srećko had.
