The increasingly famous gondola Brzeće Kopaonik, a call for proposals for construction

That the construction of the gondola Brzeće Koaonik is becoming more and more clear and its confirmed by the invitation of the JP Ski resort of Serbia for offers for the construction of the gondola as an infrastructure facility of special importance for the Republic of Serbia.

The length of the future cable car-gondola is 3741 meters with a capacity of 2400 persons per hour. The gondola route is on the route of existing Bela Reka installations 1 and 2, with a planned extension to the Mali Karaman plateau. The starting station is in Brzeće and the turnaround is in Mali Karaman, with two interchanges for loading and unloading Struga and FIS Polygon.

It is also planned to build a ski slope with the installation of a gondola from the artificial snow system. This ski slope is separated from the Bela reka 2 ski slope and flows into the very beginning of the existing Bela reka 1 ski trail, passing under the future cable car-gondola.

According to the invitation, the deadline for construction works on the installation of the cable car-gondola Brzeće Kopaonik can not be longer than 365 days, starting from the day of receipt of the application certificate, and the days when works cannot be completed due to weather conditions will not be included in the deadline.

It is early to predict when the gondola will start transporting tourists and skiers but hopefully it will be for the 2021/22 winter season.
