The winter scene of Čardaci continues its program on Monday, February 10, 2020 at 8:00 PM with an exhibition of paintings “Utočište” by the young artist Emiliana Markovic.
Pictures covered in the Utočište cycle were created between December 2016 and March 2019.

The artist presents her experience through the symbolism of emotional and spiritual balance. The most common motifs in Emiliana’s paintings, architectural objects and means of transportation, unashamedly indicate the distraction that actually forms the harmony in the life of a person with a restless spirit.

Emilijana Markovic is an artist from Novi Sad who has been living and creating in Budapest for the past few years. From a young age, she showed a tendency to express herself artistically. During her life, she tried out in various forms of art, but only about four years ago she devoted herself completely to painting.
In Novi Sad she completed high school and architecture studies at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, which is most often reflected in her works.
Emilijana is a regular participant in art colonies in Hungary organized by the Budapest Artists’ Association Krug. So far, she has had one solo exhibition at the Serb Cultural and Documentation Center in Hungary and has participated in several group exhibitions in Budapest, Pečuju and Debrecen.
